On 9th November, 2017, the 600t Deck Erection Crane sucessfully finished the first erection in Humen No.2 Bridge。
With the length of 49.7m, Humen No.2 Bridge steel box girder is the widest in the world. Humen No.2 Bridge has a main span of 1200m and is a double tower signle span cable-stay bridge. The 12.8m main bridge use pre-cast steel box girder for erection and there are totally 94 pieces of box girder and 88 pieces of standard segmental girder. The largest box girder has a weight of 350t which is the weight of more than 200 cars. The construction sequences of main bridge is from the center of span to the tower cross beam.
Humen No.2 B ridge is located in the core area of Chu Chiang Delta and is the most important link across the Zhu River and also is the important part of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
